Knowledge Base
The collection of content an assistant draws on to answer questions.
A knowledge base is the body of content an assistant uses to answer: your website pages, help-center articles, product docs, PDFs, and structured Q&A. In a RAG system it is the source of truth that retrieval searches and that grounds every answer. The quality and coverage of the knowledge base set the ceiling on answer quality.
CertifChat builds your knowledge base by crawling a full site or sitemap and by ingesting documents you upload, then re-indexing only when content changes. Because every answer is grounded in this content and cited, the assistant stays accurate and updates as your knowledge does.
See how this works in practice across CertifChat's features.
